ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Andy Martin was my younger brother. He was a true renaissance man – besides being a medical student, he also carved jewelers wax which he had cast into
silver jewelry. He was also an inspiration for my collection, The Silver Lining Jewelry.
Andy passed away in 2004 from a rare form of cancer. Less than a year after he died, I started taking jewelry classes.
I kept the molds for his jewelry designs and continued to have them cast after his death, selling the pieces and donating the proceeds to the non-profit
he founded which continues the research he had started on his own cancer (go to www.bounceforlife.org

Budding Jewelry Designer, Max |
I took the classes with the hope of doing more complex designs with Andy’s pieces; but after a while I realized that I also had a passion for jewelry!
I felt that Andy had inspired me, in an indirect way through his passing, to pursue a creative passion that I had so much excitement about.
I put a piece of myself, of my own spiritual evolution and development, into every single piece. Andy had the gift of inspiring people through his life,
and now I have the opportunity to inspire people and help them heal through my jewelry.
I hope you enjoy wearing my pieces as much as I love making them. I hope that whatever it is you find, whether something listed or a customized piece,
that it helps you to find grounding in every moment, and a remembrance that every moment in life is to be savored.
